Founder

Rev. Johnson Thomaskutty

  • Born in July 1972 as the eldest son of Mr. Oonnoonny Thomaskutty and Mrs. K.E.Leelamma in Kerala State, South India
  • Eventhough he was grown up as the member of a minority religious community (i.e., Christianity in India), his secular education was with friends from other religious communities, i.e., Hindus and Muslims of India. He cashed in on all those occasions that he had with 'others' to share the gospel, and led many to Christ
  • Extensively traveled allover India and visited 23 states from a total of 28
  • Married to Shiny Benny in 2001
  • Father of two children: His daughter Jemimah Johnson (born in 2002), and his son Jeremiah Johnson (born in 2004)

Education

Ministry

  • 1997-1999: Lecturer of New Testament and warden of Faith Bible Training Center (Auxiliary ministry of Faith Theological Seminary, Manakala, Kerala), Faridabad, and Associate Pastor in New Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh
  • 1999: Three months ministry in the city of Mumbai, and traveled extensively to many of the Northern and Western Indian rural and urban areas as an itinerant missionary
  • 2001: New Testament Faculty in India Bible College, Kumbanad, and Kerala Theological Seminary, Kottarakara, Kerala state
  • 2001-2004: Lecturer of New Testament and Greek and College Chaplain, Serampore College, West Bengal, East India
  • 2002 (February 1): Ordained by the Church in India
  • From 1995, serves as the Advisory Board Member of Praise Gospel Ministries, Kottarakara, South India
  • Influenced greatly by the works of William Carey, Joshua Marshman, and William Ward (i.e., The Serampore 'Trio'), and Mother Theresa while he was in Serampore and Calcutta
  • From June 2008, Faculty of New Testament & Greek at Union Biblical Seminary, Pune, India
