MISSION AMONG THE POOR International, Inc.

MAP INTERNATIONAL, INC. ia a missionary movement started in India by a group of spiritually motivated and qualified youths under the leadership of Rev. Johnson Thomaskutty. Our missionaries take today's challenges on behalf of the Body of Christ, the children of God allover the world. We organize Sunday and Saturday Bible classes in different Hindu and Muslim dominated areas, Vacation Bible Classes for the street children, counselling and development projects for the youths, medical assistance for the physically affected, feed the hungry, educate the illiterate, shelter the homeless, and cover the naked in different parts of India, where poor are the majority.In MAP's mission activities, our present focus is the nation of India. Christian mission in India is difficult and challenging. But, we firmly believe that God can transform all the challenges in order to save millions who are still unreached. India need to be evangelized by the love of Jesus Christ, so that the masses who are under darkness might be added to the coming Kingdom. MAP missions take almost all the socio-political and religio-cultural factors of the nation into serious consideration in its mission agenda and work vigorously to reach the goal.

In the US context

In the US context, MAP helps individuals, churches, associations, and institutions to learn about the Asian communities, their 'heart language', and their 'world view' in order to make them genuine disciples of Jesus Christ. MAP conducts workshops, demographic analyses, seminars, international festivals, and educational programs for making great impact both in the church and societal levels.

Our target groups are the Asian communities in different religious, cultural, linguistic, and ethnic contexts. We help the churches to learn about the Asian communities in order to put the Great Commission intiative into practice.
